I agree! WSGopher 0.9 allowed adding bookmarks directly from Edit Bookmarks.
Why was this capability deleted? Other than this, WSG1.0 looks great!

Subject: Help on Winsock
I can't get Winsock to work at all. A couple of friends tried it on
their machines and they couldn't get it to work either.
Is there some kind of a trick to it, or do I know a lot less about my
computer than I think I do? I'm running a 486DX with DOS 6.2, Windows
1.1 amd 8 megs of ram. I get a can't load error. I put it in
the path, put it in C:\Windows, put it in C:\Trumpet, put it in my
comm directory and Mosaic can't find it under any circumstances.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

To be more precise, you must remove all LAN drivers, not just disable particular
protocol stacks like TCP/IP or Netware. The Ethernet adapter must be an
undefined define to OS/2 (no DEVICE= driver has claimed either its address
or IRQ). Then, when the DVM starts doing I/O to some piece of hardware at
0x300 (the ususally LAN adapter address), OS/2 traps the OUT or IN instruction,
realizes that it has no defined device there, and assigns the address to the
DVM for its purposes
For more details refer to http://pclt.cis.yale.edu/pclt/winworld/os2.htm using
either Cello or Mosaic. I do not have an ftp or gopher reference for the file
available yet (just rolled the server over to production today). For the whole
thing, come it at /pclt/default.htm and look for Windows on the World.
